Terms of Service

VKTR is an AI tool from the AI division of Pro Technology Middle East, a Dubai company established in 1998 whose legal name is PRO TECHNOLOGY CO. (L.L.C.). “VKTR”, “we” and “us” mean PRO TECHNOLOGY CO. (L.L.C.); “you” means the person or business using VKTR.

VKTR turns raster images (JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC) into vector files (SVG, PDF, EPS and DXF) that you can edit and print at any size. The conversion runs in your browser, so your images are not uploaded to us (see the Privacy Policy).

VKTR converts images automatically, and we improve it continually. Every image is different: how close a result comes to the original depends on the quality, size and detail of the image you start from. We do not promise that VKTR will reproduce any particular image exactly, or that a result will suit a particular purpose.

You can try VKTR free on your own images, and the Studio shows every result in full before you download it. Please use this to decide whether VKTR meets your needs before you buy. Paid tokens and subscriptions use the same VKTR as the free service, so the results you see when you try it are a fair guide to what paid use gives you, and are what you should expect when you buy.

As we improve VKTR, results may change, and the same image may give a different result later. A result that falls short of what you hoped for is not a fault in the service when the file you download matches what the Studio showed you. This does not affect what we put right under the Refund Policy when something goes wrong on our side, or any right you have under consumer protection law.

You can create a VKTR account, with an email address and password or with Google. Tokens and payments are not open yet: until they are, no tokens are given or sold, the Studio is free to use with or without an account, and the Pricing page describes how VKTR will be offered once they open. The sections below on accounts apply now; those on tokens and payments apply from the day those open.

• +Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• +One free account per person or business. Opening extra accounts to collect more free tokens is not allowed.
• +You must be 18 or over, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to buy tokens or a subscription.
• +You can close your account at any time by contacting us. When an account is closed, whether by you or by us for breaking these terms, its unused tokens end with it and are not refunded.

A token is a credit you spend to download a VKTR file. Opening an image, converting, previewing and editing are free; each download uses one token, so an SVG and a PDF of the same image use two, and downloading the same file again uses another. If a download fails, or the file will not open, you get the token back.

• +Free: one free token every 7 days, for as long as you have an account. Free tokens do not build up: an unused one is not added to the next week's.
• +One token: bought one at a time. Bought tokens do not expire.
• +Standard: 15 tokens in each monthly billing period. They do not carry over: each new period starts with 15.
• +Pro: 50 tokens in each monthly billing period. Unused tokens carry over to the next period, and you keep them if you cancel.
• +File size: up to 10 MB on Free, 20 MB for One token and Standard, 40 MB on Pro.

When a Standard subscription ends, its tokens can be used until the end of the last period you paid for. Bought tokens and saved Pro tokens stay on your account while it is open. Tokens have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not refunded (see the Refund Policy).

• +Prices are in US dollars, are shown on the Pricing page, and include UAE VAT where it applies.
• +Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• +Subscriptions renew automatically every month and are charged to the payment method on file, until you cancel.
• +You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling a subscription does not close your account.
• +Payments are final and are not refunded, except where the Refund Policy says we put a mistake right.
• +If we change a subscription price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you want to.
• +If a payment fails, paid features may pause until it is settled.

• +You keep all rights to the images you use and the files you make with VKTR. We claim no ownership of either.
• +You confirm that you own the images you use, or have permission to use them, including any logos, trademarks, artwork or photographs in them. Turning an image into a vector does not change who owns it.
• +You are responsible for how you use the files you make.

You agree not to:

• +use VKTR for anything unlawful, or to copy work you have no right to copy;
• +get around token limits, file-size limits or payment, including by opening extra free accounts;
• +overload, attack or disrupt the service, or run it by automated means in a way a person using it normally would not;
• +copy VKTR, resell or rent out access to it, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows you to.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is fair to, we will tell you why and give you the chance to put it right first.

VKTR's results are automatic. Before you send a file to print or production, check it, especially small text, fine lines, colours and size. We are not responsible for the cost of a print run, materials or other work made from a file that was not checked first.

We work to keep VKTR available and to improve it, and we may change, add or remove features. Once tokens open, every free account gets its free weekly token for as long as it is open. The free service is offered as it is, with no promise that it will never be interrupted. If we remove a paid feature, we will say so on this website before it goes, and tokens you have already bought stay on your account.

We provide VKTR with reasonable skill and care. As far as the law allows:

• +we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data;
• +our total liability to you for all claims is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if that is more.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.

The VKTR name, logo, website and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use VKTR, not to copy it. Open-source components in the Studio are used under their own licences, listed in NOTICES.txt.

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects account holders, we will tell them by email or in the Studio before it applies. Using VKTR after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If something goes wrong, please contact us first: most problems are settled that way. If not, the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
